Lavender Sachets

Lavender is a natural insect deterrent.  It's safer than mothballs and certainly smells better.  In a closed drawer or box of clothing, a small sachet is enough to protect from unwanted pests.

 For a few years now we have been making sachets from leftover fabrics and samples in our workroom.

Since we ran out of lavender I had to make a run to Carousel Lavender Farm in nearby Mechanicsville, PA.....always a pleasure to visit.
