As of labor day this was where the tapestry was finished too. It's a race to finish by October 28th.

Since the tapestry gets rolled onto the lower beam the whole tapestry can not be viewed until it's taken off the loom. So it will be interesting to see the whole piece all at one time.

The tradition is that everyone present for the unveiling of the work will get to cut a few strings of the tapestry....apparently good luck for each person who participates. Can't wait to see what the full piece looks like!
